Through her artistic practice, Mirka explores her own struggles with mental health, using illustration and visual storytelling as a way to personify her anxieties.

 

Her illustration style is made up of a mix of digital, pencil crayon, watercolour, and ink. Though she is drawn towards the bizarre and the surreal, she always strives to maintain a certain amount of levity and playfulness in her art.
